Oratory of San Francesco Saverio “del Caravita”

It’s been a quiet few days since our anniversary. Brad pushed me in the wheelchair over to Caravita for Mass again this past Sunday, about a 40 minute trip for us. The 17th century church (shown here before Mass started) is lovely as always.

Brad was kind enough to bring me some prosecco across the oratory afterwards.

St. Frances Xavier S.J. averted his gaze.

Met Helen Harrington from Mulligar in Ireland. She is volunteer organizer for the congregation and I signed up to be a greeter. Also met Walter, who is an Italian teacher, and maybe our future?

  2. The descent into illiteracy continues. This sentence was in a story in today's newspaper: "Detectives said the methadone was left in a place where the child could reach it by his uncle, 35-year-old Willie Lee Harris Jr."
